You know I’ve seen many a bad movie and I’ve never felt the need to harass the actors, producers, studio, or director because I didn’t like the movie I was excited to see and I was a member of the fan base for. Keep in mind I am an Eragon Fan who got fucked by that movie, an Avatar the last air bender fan, and a Dragon Ball fan. If I didn’t harass anyone over those legitimately childhood ruining movies then y’all have no excuse.

Honestly the most damaging thing Facebook has done (and gotten away with) was pushing users to post personal identifying data like it isn’t a big deal

Like the reason it was so attractive to marketers in the first place was that it had successfully convinced people it was normal and ok to post their full names and ages and all of that biz on the internet

Before Facebook, honestly a lot of us found it weird to share identifying info on public profiles

Or even post pics and tag people without asking first

Facebook has had a huge hand in fundamentally changing our expectations of privacy and I barely see this mentioned when people go on about Big Data

one time i got mugged and that’s the day i realized there are just too many actually bad people in the world for any of us to be worried about furries. oh no they wanna be a wolf and date a lemur……. cool did they mug you? no? why are you concerned it’s not your business

like we could die any day. just get murdered. just get hit by a car. just fall out of bed the wrong way and you want to make ur stand against someone who dresses up as a large cat I just don’t have the energy to waste
