Thanks! 😀 I don’t know about thoughtfulness in particular, the timeline just got so expansive that the more is coming about on its own.
Oh great, now Reeve has a plot relevant character growth arc too instead of just being a background presence. Tales do grow in the telling.
Aaaaand I just realized that Path involves Sephiroth and Aeris spending all their time together at night, or at most very early morning, hiding in darkness and secrecy, while in RR they are blatantly out there under the full sun where everyone can see them and they can see each other better too. Symbolism. It’s an accident.

Don’t you just love it when you’re writing long fic and your characters show internally consistent behavior without you having to put any thought into it at all?
I told myself I’d Path this evening but the fairytale is biting more.
