This is, hands down, my favorite picture from the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon this year. Taken by Bent Paddle Brewery, it’s just an amazing picture of Wizard and a view I could never take from the sled. I am in awe that Wizard and Poe, the little silly puppies that I raised Summer before last, have grown into such wonderful sled dogs. Seeing them tackle a hundred and fifty miles with ease was absolutely amazing and I’m so proud of these guys. I love them so much!
