FUCK, I though it was just another lucky meme but LISTEN. Since a week ago I was waiting a phone call to confirm me if I got a job or not in my university. I reblogged this yesterday’s night “just for fun and because I don’t want any bagel to be mad with me”, and today’s afternoon, while I was losing my time as always, the professor I was supposed to work with called me and asked me for my personal information to start working with her.

the fact that you would consider children reenacting trauma in therapy with a licensed professional the same thing as writing idealized trauma and getting off to pedophilia and rape porn says a lot about you, your morals, and your respect for actual trauma therapy

One time I got a request to add a warning to a fic because the person said they found cannibalism triggering. I added a vague tag because I reserve my right to not tag spoilers, and it’s certainly not any of my business but… What the hell had been going on with that person that they found cannibalism triggering? Did they get snowed in and have to eat grandma?
Look, anything can be a trigger, says someone with a few weird ones, but fandom misuses and overuses the word so much I can’t even trust that i need to be genuinely considerate over the possibility that it’s just some twit trying to push fandom around. A trigger isn’t just something you find distasteful, no pun intended.
