I think for many antis the „Block me” in their description is also something they use to reject any sort of self-responsibility. If they come across something that makes them uncomfortable it’s your fault, because you were supposed to block them. They’re not responsible for their own emotional state. You are. And if it happens and they feel discomfort they’ve done nothing wrong, it’s not their fault. Because it’s the duty of everyone else to ensure that their 100% comfortable.

I think a lot of antis would object to this wording, but this is HEAVILY implied in a lot of their arguments – like “all adults are responsible for all children”. They go to EXTENSIVE lengths to reduce their responsibility for their own emotional state, because being responsible for yourself is scary! And difficult! And some people make it well into adulthood before managing to take responsibility for themselves, if they ever do at all.

There’s a lovely old English myth that if someone who truely loved and trusted the werewolf called it by name that it would turn back to human.
