There is so much positivity around taping the pieces of ourselves back together. How we picked up the shards and patched up the cracks and made something even better out of ourselves than we were Before. Look at us, the activists. Look at us, the instructors. Look at us, the travelers, the achievers, the adventurers. The ones who gave up the big plans and made new plans, or found our joy in the day to day. All of it to say we put ourselves back together and made something functional out of the mess we were in.

When you make anything horror-y you are actively trying to scare/upset/repulse your audience. You purposely write an antagonist that isn’t sympathetic because they kill/torture/steal souls/whatever. That is the point of horror.
When you ship incest you are portraying incest as something good. Something acceptable or even desirable. You are actively romanticizing it, which is the difference between enjoying a horror movie and enjoying an incestious ship.
